Visit the adidas flagship store in Paris.

Located on the famous avenue of the Champs-Elysees, the superstore of the brand with the 3 bands was opened in February 2019.

Taking place between chic restaurants of the most beautiful avenue in the world and luxury stores (Louis Vuitton, Dior for example), this newcomer looks great.

After passing the rather sober facade, the customer arrives in an immersive and deliberately "roots" universe: the materials used are concrete and metal. This association immerses the visitor in the very special atmosphere of American basketball courts in the middle of the city.

I went there on a Thursday afternoon: in the middle of the week, the crowd remains important with a good part of the clientele being foreign tourists on vacation in Paris.

The reception of the customer is very good: staff who speak several languages and can thus adapt, precise answers to questions and excellent reactivity when the customer asks for a specific product in reserve.

The brand wants to make the customers feel comfortable, almost like at home.

To enhance the customer experience, the store has many innovations and services dedicated to visitors.

Playgrounds (basketball and soccer) are available for customers to try out, but also agility games and even treadmills.

The latter have a very specific purpose: depending on the steps and the shape of the customer's shoes, the store is able to produce an almost tailor-made shoe almost instantly. Innovation at the service of the customer.

Beyond the creation of products, a dedicated space allows the customization of existing products (shoes or clothes) and access to certain exclusivities.

Most of the services offered remain accessible despite the COVID, except for the virtual reality stand that allows you to visit Paris on the run.

According to the salesman I interviewed, this activity should be able to reopen soon. To see when exactly...

Finally, in addition to the "healthy" cafeteria located on floor 0, Adidas made a strong impression with its Start-Up incubator.

Indeed, 13 companies already incubated at Station F will be able to test their products in this place.

Adidas' ambition is to make this store its flagship in the capital.

With such a concentrate of technology, innovation put at the service of the community (with the hashtag #adidasrunnerparis in particular) the brand sends a strong answer to its American competitor, Nike.
